At Metallex we are geared up to the needs of a constantly changing market. We understand that designers must have the freedom to specify new configurations, sizes and steel grades. Our manufacturing process gives the facility for an infinitely variable pitch. Tooling is presently available for over 1,000 different slot patterns. The combinations of these two factors provide the designer with virtually limitless freedom.

The essence of any quality slotted tube starts with the raw material. Prior to slotting, tubes are produced from specially selected coils. Close monitoring of the tube rolling process guarantees we produce slotted tubes to the tightest of tolerances. This ensures trouble free installation when our product becomes part of your finished system.

Traditionally, slotted tubes are produced in square, rectangular and round. In addition, the Metallex range includes flat oval, elliptical oval and octagonal. Special shaped profiles can also be produced to customer specification.

Choice extends beyond a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Whilst commercial steel forms most of our production, other materials such as stainless steel or aluminium are available where they are integral to your application.
